Liver cancer is one of the deadliest cancers worldwide and is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in South Korea. As patient prognosis is highly dependent on early detection, timely diagnosis is critical. However, due to the absence of clear symptoms in its early stages, many patients are diagnosed only after the disease has progressed.
To address this unmet need, NEORNAT is developing a panel-based in vitro diagnostic kit for the early detection of liver cancer. By simultaneously measuring multiple highly specific biomarkers through a simple blood test, the technology is designed to enable early assessment of liver cancer risk.
